the dead weather at the palladium [listening]

from my flickr collection
a sold out show

i took my cousin to go see the dead weather with me at the palladium last night. i love jack white and all his projects more and more. i was really excited for this show. i bought 2 tickets, hoping my girlfriend would go too but as i was introducing her to jack white's projects, she just was not fond of the dead weather. *knife to heart* since my cousin has been really getting into the dead weather, it just seemed appropriate that she go instead.

the show was pretty good but i'm starting to hate the palladium. it's awkward for concerts. it's a flat room and it was packed so we couldn't see shit. we tried to go to the very back to at least try to see over everyone's heads but that wasn't working. we then went upstairs where it was also crowded but not as bad as downstairs. there were limited spots as to where one could stand upstairs without paying a ridiculous price to sit at a table (bullshit). we managed to see the show through slivers of a view inbetween the people in front of us. it felt like the guy in front of me was determined to close up an gaps so that i couldn't see. in that respect i just wanted the show to end to put me out of my misery. next time, i'm in the front.
