may's netflix buffet [watching]
so it looks like in may i didn't get to watch too many films. i'm not back at the pace i used to be at but at least i'm not slowing down.
"sherlock holmes" - i was really excited to see this in theaters but i never went. i wish i could've been just as excited watching this at home but the film fell flat.
"the lovely bones" - you know how much i hate mark wahlberg, right? well i got this one to say i've seen all of peter jackson's films. i feel like the trailer to this was deceptive as to what the film actually was. the film wasn't so bad but that darn trailer had me anticipating something else.
"jonestown: the life.... of peoples temple" - since the jonestown thing went down on my birthday, i've been curious about it but as notorious as it was, i never really knew about it. thus, lately i've been reading up on the web and finally my curiousity has culminated into watching this documentary. i feel like this documentary misses many things and so if i hadn't done my readings ahead of time, i would have a very poor picture of what happened.
"skinny puppy: ain't it dead yet" - i don't think i'm that big into earlier skinny puppy and for me this is earlier skinny puppy. i skipped through a lot of this, sorry.
"gorillaz: phase tow: slowboat to hades" - i'm sorry, what's going on here? can't remember...
