january's netflix buffet [watching]
since moving and getting a puppy, i've hardly watched anything. in fact, i don't think i watched anything at all in december. january wasn't much better. in fact, i had been hodling onto a disc since living in my last place in november.
"day for night" - this is kind of like the french version of "8 1/2". it's made by a french master filmmaker and it's about making a movie, just as "8 1/2" can be summarized that way, but italian style. omg jacqueline bisset was gorgeous when she was young. she's another actress whom i kinda only know as an older lady so to see such people act when they were in their priime and what made them famous, well, i should do it more often to appreciate their talents. now i think i'll go have some country cheese.
"it might get loud" - i'm a jack white fan so i wanted to see this. i'm not into led zeppelin and i often criticize u2, so i wasn't really sure what this film would be like. however, i do enjoy musicians coming together and that's what this film is. you get some back history and you get to see them jam and that's pretty cool.
