happy new year! it's morning... the morning after a new year's party. i believe it was the first time i ever did the new year's kiss thing. can you believe it??? crazy!

more crazy stuff. last night olive said that she could marry me someday. that was really out of nowhere. we went upstairs to her room about 3 different times, each for different reasons. i think it was the second time to go grab a cable, i really can't remember why we went up, but as soon as the door closed it's like olive's entire mood changed. i have no idea what brought it on. if it was bubbling inside, if it was the bubbly, or something else. anyway, it went from happy party time to crying because i love you so much.

the marriage thing only blows me away because of how anti-marriage olive is. so this is very significant. i'm happy that anyone could feel that way about me. i'm happy that it's her. i'm happy that she could open up and share that and other things going on that she poured out.

i have a feeling that this is going to be a good year. and not just in comparison to last year. but a good year in and of itself!
