limone and i continued our hang out session today. she's been to my town but never really checked out the scene here so i showed her around (read as gay bar hopping). we started it off with some lunch at a gay joint that had a drag show going on too early for me. then we went over to a bar for some drinks. we had spent the night before trying to explain to each other what our type was. actually, it wasn't hard for her and i already knew her type. for me, it's much much harder. i could give a briefing if there even was my type but not anyone can fill in the blanks. you could match my vague description and not be my type at all. so the night before was quite hard to point out anyone, especially since it was mostly men at the club. also last night we said i had to get over latinas so everytime i saw a latina i had to smack my hand, "no!" but today was a bit easier. we had some dinner and were then walking around and there just happened to be several cute girls working at the various stores. then it was off to a couple more bars for drinks. the scene is more quiet and down to earth here than in west hollywood, plus the drink price is much easier on the wallet.
