beating up hello kitty [uncoupling]

today me and my ex- were supposed to go see a documentary of someone we met once while travelling. it's an interesting subject but when it got down to it, we didn't feel like going. we were having lunch and others were supposed to go but they couldn't go. we weren't even sure if the filmmaker would be there and i think a large point to going was to say hi to him again. so we opted instead to do some karaoke. since it was just the two of us, we were able to pick whatever song we wanted. boy, do we really love lots of the same songs. we had a blast! we were there for 3 hours and if we didn't have to be somewhere else, who knows how long we would have stayed. i picked some songs just to say i've done karaoke by those bands, such as x-ray spex!

yeah, i'd hit that

after karaoke, we went to the birthday party for her brother-in-law. i really didn't expect to be going to family functions so soon but what the hell. and it was there that i got to hit my first piñata. i've always wanted to beat the crap out of one so it was great to finally give it a try. i really wanted one at a birthday party as a kid but i never had one. 2 years into our relationship, my ex- even got me a piñata and we filled it with candy but alas we never did hang it up and beat it. i suppose now that i've finally got to hit a piñata, you could say that my life is complete, hahahaa. to top it all off, it was a hello kitty piñata!

kitty fought back

later on in the night while still at the party, i realized that i had scratches on my hands. damn, kitty fought back! i had no idea i got hurt while hitting the piñata. it really looks like i got scratched by a cat. that big kitty was so sturdy that everyone had a hard time with it. but i was the first to injure kitty. i poked a hole near her eye and whacked off the ribbon by her ear. take that kitty!
