half my life [uncoupling]
today my ex- remarked that this has been so hard because we've been together for practically half our lives. my god, i didn't look at it like that. she's right. she's totally right. no wonder this is so damn hard. half my fucking life! that's why it feels like my life has been taken away from me. if this was such an integral part of our lives, then why couldn't we make it work? why didn't we try harder? ouch, the pain.
