camp freddy december residency #3 [listening]

another camp freddy residency at the roxy last night. same deal as before: same opening bands, no setlist souvenir for me, just going by what's in my photos, my memory, and pieces of info from the internet. the opening bands are starting to sound better, at least the leo project is. i must be getting conditioned. for the guests, there was the singer of the donnas. i tried to make my ucsc sweater prominent but she was on the other side of the stage and i don't think anyone in the band gives a fuck that they ever went to ucsc. fuck 'em! ucsc rocks! besides, i don't think the singer went. awesome moment: realizing how good steve lukather (toto) is on guitar. i'm not into that kind of music, not classic straight up rock stuff so i have no idea what toto sings and all that, but the guy really got into it at one point. wes from puddle of mudd sang so much like kurt cobain that it was scary so that was cool, even if he dissed me by acknowledging those next to me but not me. i still think fred durst is a duche.
