skull Projects

Another "project" of mine is to minimize my life and I'm starting off by selling (and a few trades) most of my music collection. For now I am only listing about 200 pieces at a time, otherwise it becomes too much to deal with. If you do not see what you are looking for, then email me which band you are interested in and I'll see if I have what you're looking for. half.com, ebay, amazon.com, lala.com

uncontacted tribes [thinking]

the bbc reported that an isolated tribe was spotted in brazil. the anthropologist in me finds this truly fascinating. it's amazing that there are any uncontacted tribes left in this world. to find evidence of their existence arouses great curiosity but it is exactly this curiosity which has hurt tribes throughout history. we should spread awareness that they exist to help protect their lands but keep our distance to protect their existence. i found this topic to be so interesting that i found a website that deals exactly in this area, of uncontacted tribes and protecting their land/rights. please visit survival international for some great material on the matter.

J showed this news story to me awhile ago. I've had a huge fascination with indigenous tribes for a long time. This an absolutely stunning discovery that should be forgotten - in the sense that they should be left alone and not forced to be involved in the so-called civilized world.
