lady talks like a dude [geeking]

i decided to take this online gender test that analyzes text and determines if the author is female or male. i came upon it through my random web surfing and found a blog entry where the author of kamigoroshi.net declares he is not a lady. he has been confused for being female online. i can relate to that as others online have thought i am a gay man. as the blog author did, i also submitted 10 random blog entries to be analyzed. i tried to make sure to vary the categories, length of entries, and age of the entries (new and old ones) just to make sure the sample i was giving was varied enough. the results? i must talk like a guy. my results were 4 entries were female and 6 entries were male. the sad thing is, most of the male ones were not even a close call between male and female. no, they were overwhelming male. one entry was even 3x or 4x more male than female. you can try it out for yourself: the gender genie.
