skull Projects

Another "project" of mine is to minimize my life and I'm starting off by selling (and a few trades) most of my music collection. For now I am only listing about 200 pieces at a time, otherwise it becomes too much to deal with. If you do not see what you are looking for, then email me which band you are interested in and I'll see if I have what you're looking for. half.com, ebay, amazon.com, lala.com

not funny, blah! [watching]

recent netflixes were not so funny. we watched "balls of fury", which was the funniest of the lot of unfunnies. maybe second was "barnyard". the least funny was definitely the canceled tv show "greg the bunny".

"balls of fury" was a dumb film, sure, but the trailer looked like you could get a couple of laughs out of it. true, we did squeeze out a couple of laughs. it's like junk food, not much nutritional value nor satisfaction at the end of the day. "barnyard" is one of the animated movies i was not interested in but rented to give it a chance. wanda sykes voices a minor character but it was not enough to save the film. "greg the bunny" is not funny, blah! painfully forcing myself through disc 1, i was not going to even bother watching disc 2, it was that bad. and i wondered why the hell i even wanted to rent this anyway. where did i read good reviews of this show and whom should i strangle? what's worse is that disc 1 was mis-delivered (or stolen) and so i had to report that it was missing and request it again!

then i watched disc 1 together with twiddle thumbs, (i must be a masochist), warning her how bad it is, and she was actually laughing! i was staring at her and wondering how this could be funny. (the same holds true for parts of "barnyard".) that is what prompted me to watch the whole series because she wanted to watch disc 2. and now i'm stuck saying 'blah' at the end of my sentences, doing impressions of warren de montague, and fighting for the rights of fabricated americans.
