skull Projects

Another "project" of mine is to minimize my life and I'm starting off by selling (and a few trades) most of my music collection. For now I am only listing about 200 pieces at a time, otherwise it becomes too much to deal with. If you do not see what you are looking for, then email me which band you are interested in and I'll see if I have what you're looking for. half.com, ebay, amazon.com, lala.com

happy new year! [living]

from my flickr collection
happy new year!

we went out to a club for new year's eve and just returned. it was a mixed gay/lesbian event with go-go dancers. i was staring a little too much at one of the go-go boys i guess because he started motioning for me to come over. you see, everyone was leaving tips in that boy's underwear and well, i was just trying to figure out the source of his power. there were three rooms, each featuring music from a different decade. i thought i'd be in the 90's room but i never heard before the kind of 90's music they were playing so i stuck with the 80's room. one kid asked my why i wasn't dancing. he just couldn't understand how someone could refuse to dance to madonna. i didn't mean not to look like i'm holed up in a corner but i was really waiting for some cool tunes to play. i did make my way to the dance floor before midnight and stayed there for about 2 hours, which is a long time for someone who doesn't dance. there was free champagne for a midnight toast but if you went to the bar to get a glass, you'd miss out on the cash balloon drop. no way was i missing that so i danced my way to the center of it, just like everyone else. we were packed in there tight but it was worth it as i got $30 in balloons i popped which helped to offset my entrance ticket and drinks. i realize i need to go out more but my new work schedule isn't very lenient with staying out at night. here's to 2008! may it be better than 2007!
