skull Projects

Another "project" of mine is to minimize my life and I'm starting off by selling (and a few trades) most of my music collection. For now I am only listing about 200 pieces at a time, otherwise it becomes too much to deal with. If you do not see what you are looking for, then email me which band you are interested in and I'll see if I have what you're looking for. half.com, ebay, amazon.com, lala.com

tourist remover software [geeking]

don't you hate it when you're trying to get a shot of something but people keep stepping in frame and you want to photograph the building/thing/place without any people? well nothing that a little photoshop can't help but for those not so photoshop savvy, i read about tourist remover. you take several snapshots and it will remove the items that are only in one shot, such as a passing car, not a parked car. afterall, the software can't magically fill in what was never photographed and if part of what you want is being blocked by a parked car, you better get a whole lot better in drawing and cloning in photoshop! but reading about the software just sparked a basic reminder in my head. with the size of memory cards these days, snap as many photos until you get the right shot. and if you didn't get the right shot out in the field, hopefully you got enough to stitch together the right shot in your digital darkroom. so don't be stingy when you're out taking pictures. fire away!
