skull Projects

Another "project" of mine is to minimize my life and I'm starting off by selling (and a few trades) most of my music collection. For now I am only listing about 200 pieces at a time, otherwise it becomes too much to deal with. If you do not see what you are looking for, then email me which band you are interested in and I'll see if I have what you're looking for. half.com, ebay, amazon.com, lala.com

firefox [geeking]

i tend to use firefox at work because it works. but i could not figure out how to change the default printer. everything else is printing to the printer at my desk but just firefox is printing to a printer in a locked room to which i do not have the key. yes, it blows. but luckily there are many tips online and i found out how to set a default printer in firefox for pcs.

i've also been warming up to tabbed browsing. i absolutely loathed it until possibly today. what i didn't like was that i couldn't compared two pages at the same time. so often i needed to see two or three web pages at the same time and tabbed browsing just does not work for that. also, i have a habit of using keyboard shortcuts to close windows once i'm done with the information. with tabbed browsing, i was closing multiple windows at once. for the first time i am seeing benefits to tabbed browsing and do not mind it so much. it helps to reduce window clutter. there isn't an easy way to manage all of the open windows on a pc as opposed to how i manage the windows at home on a mac. what i dislike about firefox and i can't find a plugin for it, is the ability to view history like in safari. instead, i only see tab history and that is very short. if i close a tab the history is gone. i would love to see a list of every site i went to today or yesterday in case i forgot the address or accidentally closed a window.
