skull Projects

Another "project" of mine is to minimize my life and I'm starting off by selling (and a few trades) most of my music collection. For now I am only listing about 200 pieces at a time, otherwise it becomes too much to deal with. If you do not see what you are looking for, then email me which band you are interested in and I'll see if I have what you're looking for. half.com, ebay, amazon.com, lala.com

computing news [geeking]

i can use a computer now at work. i was given the login info for the computer at my desk. it was minor torture because it was just sitting there and i couldn't use, especially because i needed to do work. it's just so different here. i called the computing people to see if i could be given a temp login or just something so i could look up things online for my job. the response i received was like it's too much of a hassle, wait a week. so i was very surprised when about 20 minutes later, someone came over and gave me the login info.

then i go home and my mom tells me she got a mac and she can't use it 'cos the mouse doesn't work! wow. we had been talking about her possibly getting a mac for a couple years now and she finally did it. although recently i told her to wait a month or two because a new os just came out and she should wait until they patch the bugs. i guess she decided to take advantage of free shipping this month. i went over there and i don't know what her problem was. she was in the middle of registering it and nothing was wrong with the mouse. i think the system is just so new to her that. not just the os but even the mouse. i gave her a quick tutorial on some mac basics but i can tell i'm going to have to conduct a series of trainings.
