back in california

last night after dinner it was decided that we were not going to spend the night texas or anywhere. we were going to drive straight home to los angeles. my mom's boyfriend drove on and everyone else went to sleep. we arrived early in the morning in the palm springs area and my brother wanted to go outlet shopping. we had to wait a couple hours for the shops to open up. there was much indecision as to whether we should bother. my brother decided he just had to shop. so we waited in the car and then waited while he and my mother shopped. i was not interested at all. these are brand name shops and i hate brand names. plus i just wanted to wash off the overnight funk and crawl into my own bed.
