no nemo for me [living]
today we went to disneyland to use up last of the 4 day ticket we had for this year. it was my goal to get on the new finding nemo ride. i wanted to be there when the park opened and get on it first but that's not what happened. we got there within the first hour that they were open and went to nemo first but the line was longer that i have ever seen it. it must have been at least 2 hours longs. so no nemo again!
once again with this visit we tried to get on rides we have not been on in a long time plus our usual favorites. we rode/went to/saw: mark twain, tom sawyer island (now called something else and remodeled to be a pirate island due to the popularity of pirates of the caribbean movie), thunder mountain, indiana jones, jungle boat, matterhorn, space mountain, star tours, aladdin's oasis, gadget's go coaster (toon town), roger rabbit's car toon spin, haunted mansion ('cos it's decorated for the holidays again), mr. toad's wild ride, pinocchio, snow white, pirates of the caribbean, peter pan, dumbo, railroad, and innoventions.
at the innoventions place i played "guitar hero II". i wanted to see what the game was like and what all the hype is about. i've read about some of the songs on "guitar hero III" and i'd love to try "stop" by jane's addiction. the version at disneyland didn't have many songs so i played "heart shaped box" by nirvana. what i can determine after only playing one song is that the guitar controller is very uncomfortable. my fingers hurt from play that plastic neck. if i owned that game and if i'm gonna spend time getting good at the game, i might as well invest that same time and energy into getting good at playing a real guitar. new year's resolution?
