spice girls [living]

a couple weeks ago we bought these spice jars with magnets so we could stick our spices to the fridge. what's the use for this other than it helps with clutter and looks cool? i dunno but i read about doing this sort of project in "ready made" magazine and then i actually saw it for sale at a good price so i had to get them. i placed the spices that we use the most in the magnet jars. (of course i hope to increase my spice vocabulary so it does not appear so ordinary.) i then put some clear tape on the covers so i could write the contents. i just had to be careful about where i put them on the fridge. the first few inches by the edge are hot and i don't want my spices to get hot and ruined. the remainder of the fridge is quite cool.

i think the jars will come in handy for when we start going camping. i want to be organized about it and have almost everything you need already packed away. that way you can have more spontaneous camping trips and packing up won't be a chore. when you decide to go camping, you can just grab your favorite spices that are sticking to the fridge and go.
