maybe i shouldn't mention it but i got a raise. a small one but a raise nonetheless. therefore, i am grateful. especially because i didn't ask for it, my boss just gave it to me because i've been in this position for 1 year now. i don't know if that's normal for this company or if i should expect a raise every year but it's nice someone remembered it's been 1 year. when they fired twiddle thumbs's boss, they gave her a raise to keep her on sort of thing. please don't leave us incentive when the new boss came on board. when they fired my boss, they didn't give me a raise and perhaps i was a little jealous but also happy that at least one of us got a raise. i guess you could say now that i got one too, just a little bit delayed. for both of us, the raise was effective before anyone told us. now that's super cool.
