i let my mom borrow my telescope and her boyfriend likes the idea of having a telescope so much that he wants to keep it. i think it got damaged a bit during the move but he wants to have it repaired and use it. in return, my mom said she'd buy me a tent because i've talked about how i want to get one and go camping. no tent yet but she started talking about renting a recreation vehicle on going on a road trip to yosemite because i mentioned i would like to go there next year. once she realized the cost of renting a rv, she scrapped the idea. now she's talking of another road trip but to a desert location in 2 weeks or so. no way lady am i road tripping to the desert in the middle of summer!
