harry potter and the order of disappointment [watching]

with the week i have been having, it's time to destress and enjoy a day at the movies. i don't think i'll ever read the harry potter books but i like to see the films while they are still new releases and in a nice theater. i may have even seen them on an imax screen. today i went to see "harry potter and the order of the phoenix". i guess all the initial thrills are gone, such as learning about hogwarts and just the whole harry potter world. he's now several years into school. all the cast has grown up. the film was slow and nothing terribly exciting happened. i'd say this was the worst harry potter film yet. when it was over, i was surprised that they had already been through a whole year of school. i'm sure much more happens in the course of a year and it's noted in the books. i guess i will have to read the books afterall. just as soon as i get done reading the other stuff i've started. i did finally finish 2 books recently but with my recent trip, i think i owe it to the authors whose homes and graves i visited to (re)read their works.
