craving vegan pancakes [ingesting]

i really didn't do much today. did a project at home for work. but i've had some serious cravings for pancakes. i don't want to go out all the way to a vegan restaurant to have them. it can't be that hard to make good vegan pancakes at home. or at least something edible. i looked through a couple of the vegan cookbooks i have since i've now got a decent amount that i should be able to find just about any recipe. i looked over 2 different pancake recipes and chose one over the other. it just seemed more like the regular pancakes you grow up with. later i'll try the alternate version. i must say how pleased i was with those damn pancakes. it was like my dinner but it didn't matter. they were good. maybe i made them too thick. i used to make them thin. that didn't matter. i was eating homemade pancakes. the first time since... well.. i never made them totally from scratch before. i think i would use a bisquik box. it doesn't count as from scratch if it comes out of a box to me. i even improvised on the recipe by adding chopped pecans--great idea! i can't wait to try more variations.
