lately i'm really excited by the idea of going camping. back in new zealand when i was doing more outdoors stuff and bought sleeping bags, etc., i said that when i got back to america i'd get a tent and go camping and just continue the adventure overall. but have i? no. that was 2 years ago. (already! can you believe it?) talk is cheap. this is another year where i'm sick of talk. i am going to get a tent this year. i've been eyeing tents at various stores for awhile now. i am going to start camping. i haven't been in a long time. i went once in new zealand and before that the last time was probably 1995! i loved camping as a kid. it's one of my treasured childhood memories. i'm going to go a few times this year to get back into the swing of it. perfect the art of packing, vegan camp food, and having fun. then i want to hit somewhere nice next year like yosemite.
