las partes del cuerpo [learning]
tonight twiddle thumbs and i exchanged language lessons. we went over basic body parts and numbers. it was pretty fun. i started it off by having each of us write as many words as we knew of the other language (japanese for her and spanish for me) in 3 minutes. when you are pressured like that, you tend to blank out. i ended up listing lots of mexican food. for the parts of the body, i had twiddle thumbs draw a person and a close up of the face, then we labled the parts. she was laughing over her drawings but i think those little touches it was made it fun. plus, we both realized which words we don't know that we should know.
