lala trades review 8 [listening]

of course it's time to write about more trades acquired through lala. so here it is, short and sweet.

megadeth - "the system has failed". hmm, i'm not really a dave mustaine fan but more got this one for twiddle thumbs. this work seems to look too much to the past. i think mustaine is one of those musicians who needs to search deep within him to get over all the hype and criticisms going on and jam for hours with musicians of his musical area. then take the cream of the crop jams and hone those out into a new album. a new start.

flyleaf - "flyleaf". got this 'cos dave navarro guests on it. that's all i can say.

specials - "singles collection"
madness - "divine madness"
i got these 2 to hear ska, old school. the stuff people listened to when i was in school but that i never got around to. it's ok, not bad, but like i've said before, i prefer latin ska because they add that groovy percussion that knocks it out of the park.

mephisto walz - "thalia"
march violets - "botanic verses"
got these 2 to catch up on goth back in the day as it were. i think i prefer mephisto to march. i just couldn't get into the march violets as easily as i did mephisto walz. partly i blame buying these cds years too late. this kind of music is my past. now i'm hungry for someone unknown style, genre, or musician that spark a new fury in my love of music.
