lately at work i've been picking up/dropping off people at the airport. i haven't gone to the airport as part of my job since i left santa cruz. the two people i took today had some interesting comments. one of them was about my feet (i was wearing open-toed shoes). he was saying how you can tell if a woman is good or not if she takes care of my feet...and i apparently take care of my feet. needless to say, it was an awkward moment for me. second, they commented on my driving. if you've been in my car when i'm driving then you probably are dead wrong in your guess about what they said--they praised my driving! they said, no offense, that most women can't drive but i was in control of the car and they felt safe. something like that. hahahahahaa i told them that next time i'd be sure to drive more wrecklessly, more LA-like.
