yummy vegan breakfast [ingesting]

today we went to eat breakfast at sidney's cafe in fullerton. wow. yum! i had read about this place a long time ago but never had a chance to stop by. i had been in contact for a brief while with a professor i had at ucsc who lives down here now and is vegan. we said we'd check sidney's out but we never did. i couldn't wait. twiddle thumbs and i went there and ate with a former co-worker of hers who loves food and is intrigued and curious as to what vegan foods are like. i had the tofu scramble with potatoes and toast. twiddle thumbs had the french toast. the co-worker had the breakfast burrito. no one ordered the pancakes. i think the ones at california vegan (santa monica) will be hard to top but after eating the tofu scramble, fuck man, i think the pancakes will be killer! i didn't feel stuffed but i wasn't hungry for hours after breakfast. it was so good and filling. i had a bite of the french toast. heaven. the menu has a lot of variety. a bit expensive for lunch but if i worked in the area i'd go there all the freakin' time. delicious!
