some kind of exorcist [watching]

even though i don't like metallica, i had heard good things about "some kind of monster", plus eric avery (jane's addiction) is in it for a few seconds, so i netflixed it. what a bunch of wankers. what a bunch of fucking wankers. i'm glad i was never into metallica. if you want to sit through a couple hours of people who have more money than they know what to do with so they have no inspiration for music and have therapists and record company people tell them they must do this and that then by all means watch this film. if anything it's a case study of a super group and what happens when the intoxication of success has evaporated.

i also netflixed "constantine", which is really just a modern super hero version of the "exorcist" with all the special effects they can throw at you. if you're into the comic, director, or stars then you should watch it. otherwise it's just a mildly enjoyable film that you could watch on tv. not something to go out of your way to see. not completely terrible but not exactly good either. more in the 2-3 stars range.

oh and just for fun i watched "the three amigos" as well because when i saw it years ago i hated it but twiddle thumbs loves it so i thought i'd give it another chance. i laughed more than i ever have and now i know why twiddle thumbs calls people 'dusty bottoms', hahahahaaa.
