we went to see "shrek 3" tonight. we never go to a movie on opening night so it was a bit strange to go to a packed theater, especially one with so many children! but that's what happens when you watch a cartoon in america. the first shrek movie was alright. i really like the gamecube game we have, "shrek super party". i didn't much care for the second shrek movie. puss in boots was adorable but that's about it. any animal can open their eyes big and look cute. given that i didn't like part 2, i really wasn't interested in part 3 but twiddle thumbs wanted to see it so off we went. part 3 was good! at least much more enjoyable than part 2. several laughable moments, a couple good puns, etc. overall, if you liked the first shrek, i think you might like part 3.
