when i drive alone i get to play my music as loud as i want to. when i drive on the freeway i blast it. more and more i play music too loud in car. as i drive to work but especially when i drive home from work. when i get off work, i just want to be immediately teleported home. i don't want to have to deal with the traffic. i just want to be in my comfort zone. so i blast my favorite music. especially angry music. and i put my windows down. maybe i'm trying to piss off someone next to me. maybe i'm trying to fight off their hip-hop blasting. maybe i'm trying to surprise people that this girl in casual business attire and glasses is blasting black metal. maybe no one gives a shit. the point is, i blast it far too loud. sometimes when i get home my ears are ringing like i was at a concert. i gotta learn to turn that shit a notch down.
