today was all about adding a plugin for a phpbb bbs i have installed for one of my sites. it's to help cut down on spammers. i thought everything was right when i followed the instructions but when i test it out something wasn't right. i just stared at the code too damn long and couldn't troubleshoot anymore. so i posted a question to a forum and waiting. at night i decided to take another look at my code and i figured out what was wrong. i looked at the forum and someone responded that i should look at my code, hahahahaa. well i'm just glad it's working and we shall see if this helps out with the spam. i installed the anti bot question mod to cut down on spammers even registering. if anyone does spam then i'll just boot them out as i have been doing. if it becomes a big problem then i'll have to look into more measures to fight spam.
