today i gave a girl who came in to training a ride to the metrolink station. she didn't have a ride home and the metrolink is on my way home anyway. i also found out that i lost $20 lost in kindness for a kid that doesn't work with us anymore. he lived far away and had to take public transportation back but didn't have enough money. hello, if you know you have to ride public transportation, make sure you take enough money with you. i figured he could just give the money to his manager and i'd get it from her at the next manager meeting, which was only 1-2 weeks away at the time. that manager quit. then that employee quit. there goes my $20 for being nice. i'm not helping people out anymore. just rides to the metrolink station every now and then if someone needs it.
