peeling armpits [screaming]

the one thing about going completely vegan that is frustrating is trying to find a suitable deodorant. one that doesn't make you smell like a hippy. i have tried many brands/fragrances and had just about given up. then i saw a new scent, apricot by tom's of maine. i thought, wow, this actually smells decent, i'll try it. i wore it a few days and lo and behold, you don't smell like a hippy, you smell like a peach, er apricot. so i've been using it for awhile now. not sure how long. a couple weeks perhaps? sometimes it burns though. maybe i put it on after i shaved and it burned me? i'm not sure. i just know that i had felt a slight burn. then a couple days ago, a very big burn. while i was in the shower, i noticed something odd when i washed my armpits. when i got out, they still burned but like an idiot, i put on the deodorant anyway. well, my armpits were peeling, that's what it was! the burn hurt so much. my pits are fucking peeling. i've been trying to remove all the peeling skin ever since. you're always supposed to look on the bright side of things the only good thing that i can think about this is that perhaps my armpit skin needed a rejuvenation! afterall, how often do pits peel? you never accidentally sunburn there or really exfoliate there so perhaps this was needed.
