for awhile, twiddle thumbs has been trying to convince me to go to her parents' house for christmas eve and i just didn't feel like it. first of all, i felt weird, like something bad was going to happen if i went. secondly, traditionally it is on christmas eve that my family gathers at my grandparents' house but the family has disentigrated and traditions no longer hold. i wasn't sure if they were going to have a gathering and i didn't feel like calling. i honestly wanted to be alone for the holidays. i just don't believe in all the bullshit. however, i decided to go with twiddle thumbs to her parents' house and nopalita came too so it wasn't so bad. at least i had someone to talk to whenever it got remotely weird.
