lala starter kit [geeking]

my lala starter kit has arrived with the clamshell cases and envelopes. now i see why it's difficult to send artwork. not only is there the weight limitation issue for pre-paid envelopes but the space to insert the cd is really tight and narrow so inserting the back cover artwork can be tricky. i went to the website and picked cds to send out. when you click that you are going to send it, you have to 'activate' the envelope for tracking and postage purposes. then the name/address of who to send it to is revealed. there's room on the back of the envelope to write about the cd, (like your favorite tracks), give recommendations, whatever. i wouldn't write down what's in there in case someone has sticky fingers but there were a couple of cds i felt chatty about so i wrote a couple lines like "if you like this you should also check out..."
