i know it's been awhile since i moved, i mean, almost a month, so i can't exactly say that i 'just moved' anymore. it's now 'recently moved'. however, the utility bills are starting to come in now, sinking it in even further. i just have to say it: screw your activation fees! i'm used to activation fees for phones. but we don't have a phone! they charged an activation fee for the electricity. they charged an activation fee for the gas. i'm used to the electricity and gas coming from the same provider and just changing billing names. it's quite simple. this time it was a little more complicated. we had to prove that we are renting. seriously. i faxed over a copy of the rental agreement and my identification. it's been a long time since i've had to pay for water so we'll see how bad it is. i might start engaging in minimal bathing rituals and going by the focker phrase "if it's yellow, be mellow. if it's brown, flush it down".
