we were going to go see sepultura play tonight in long beach but the show was cancelled. i got off work early and everything. i had checked the band's website and there was no news of this. right before we left the house, twiddle thumbs told me that my brother had told her that my mom had left a voicemail on my cell phone that he's borrowing. i called my mom and she said some girl called to tell me that the show tonight is cancelled. she gave me a name and number. i was really confused because i never heard of this person and what the hell are they doing calling my mom's house? turns out it was the ticket agency to let me know the show was cancelled. could't they have notified people earlier!?! this is very last minute!!! apparently the band couldn't get visas in time and the tour has been pushed back 1 month. instead of going to the show, we used this extra time given to us to prepare for tomorrow's party. we needed it! a very small party but we didn't know how we were going to be ready in time!
