this is it. today is the day we go to japan! for so many years i have been waiting for this moment. for a very long time i have wanted to show my friends around japan. to see what the big cities are like, to see where i lived, etc. we're going for 2 weeks and we're going to see as much as possible. i'm already tired just thinking about it! i feel like the group leader. i feel like i have to watch out for everyone. i feel especially responsible since i planned out our itineraries. it's me, my mom, twiddle thumbs, and twiddle thumbs's older sister. i have to watch out for the 2 that don't speak japanese and the 1 that is forgetful and constantly leaves behind her purse! we are off now to fly and i probably won't be able to update the blog on a daily basis. i am carrying a small notebook and intead to write my entries in that and will later transcribe them for the blog.
