it's official, i have no gaydar [thinking]

i just found out that my old boss is gay and some other people too. she even just married her girlfriend in vegas. (is that why i was hired? hahahaa) man, i had no idea...i have no gaydar! i guess it's because i'm so wrapped up in my head about my own life that i really don't think about other people. i like to think that i'm unique or the only one who likes this and that or has done such and such. (i guess we all just want to feel special.) plus, i spent too many years among people who walk around with queer on their forehead. times have changed. i notice so many young kids in LA open and (seemingly) carefree, it's refreshing! i'm even surprised when i find out my own friends or family members are queer. it's more of a 'no way, you like water with lime juice too?' kind of trivial moment.
