don't walk barefoot to throw away the trash [living]
i always walk barefoot outside to throw away the trash but i don't think i will be doing that anymore! today i stepped on a shard of broken glass and limped my way through the house to go wash and bandage my wound, leaving a trail of blood droplets of which i must go now to clean up.
