the end of queer as folk [watching]

i just watched the final episode of the final season of "queer as folk". i didn't like all of the elements of the show, the cutting down of episodes per season, the paths certain characters take, but overall i liked the show a lot. it's one of those shows that is much better for me to watch on dvd so i can watch episodes back to back without delay, instead of watching it as it airs and waiting 1 week to see the next episode. twiddle thumbs did not like the final episode at all. hey, you do what you gotta do to wrap things up. i think when the first episode aired, it kinda felt like it was centered around michael but it quickly became the brian show. given that change, it only makes sense to end the show when justin moves away from brian. this way, it's a tale of the life of a player when he actually had a boyfriend. whether you like it or not, that's how it goes. the boys have become men. life moves on.
