laughter is the best medicine [thinking]

i love making people laugh. i can't think of anything else that gives me as much satisfaction as people laughing along with me at my jokes. especially people i know. especially when they laugh so hard that they lose control over their body. if i make them laugh through email rather than in person than it's even better because my voice and my gestures did not matter. the joke was good enough on its own.

i have made a friend cry with laughter. i have made a friend laugh so hard they peed their pants. i have made someone laugh so hard they fell out of their chair. (once was my mother's friend in a restaurant. that's worth big bonus points because it wasn't even my friend. my friends tend to eventually understand my brand of humor. another time was a friend through email.) i have made a friend laugh so hard that they began to vomit. yesterday i made twiddle thumbs snort. i sent her an email and she wrote back that she laughed so much she even snorted. i can't say i recall a specific incident where i made someone snort but it's good to know that i can now say with certainty that i have made someone snort with laughter.
