it's a sunny day outside [living]

twiddle thumbs's family bought an above ground pool. they have already set it up but haven't filled it up with water yet. since none of them have ever had a pool before, i went over and helped out since i know a little something and it's better than nothing. we first drove by the little pool store close to my mom's house that my family would go to when we had a pool but they aren't in business anymore. twiddle thumbs had to go with her mom to target to do a little shopping anyway so i went with them and we looked in the pool area and they happened to have the perfect thing. they had a packaged set of chemicals and testing kit designed for above ground pools of the size they bought. we went back to their house and started filling up the pool with water. twiddle thumbs was the designated person to jump in there and smooth out the bottom lining. we started filling it with water a little late in the day for the flow rate of their garden hose so we'll have to go back again tomorrow to add some chlorine once it's full.
