dial a cliche [watching]
i netflixed "esther kahn" because a friend wanted to see what summer phoenix was like so we added some of the movies she has been in to my netflix queue. we started to watch "esther kahn" but it's a really long movie and stopped after 1 hour. i let her borrow the disc to finish it and i would finish it after picking it up. well, she never finished and personally i could've gone without seeing anymore but the curiosity nagged at me. i had read it was good and wanted to see if indeed it does get better. you know what? it doesn't really. the entire point of the story is that one must experience heartache in order to create good art.
p.s.
while i was driving today, a car in front of me had a ucsc license plate frame. amazing. i have never seen this in southern california unless it was the above mentioned friend.
