direct sunlight puts me over the edge [watching]
last night we went to see grunion again
i wanted to show twiddle thumbs some of the local parks in the daylight that i hadn't shown her before and hadn't been to in years. however, i forgot it's a holiday and that means people go outdoors. the parks were crowded as hell. i can't believe how many people like to eat outdoors in direct sunlight and exposed to insects. yeuch! so we dodged the heat by going to the movies. there was only one thing on the screens that interested me: "over the hedge". i thought it would be 3 stars, a few chuckles. oh no, it was so good. 5 stars, something to put in your dvd collection and watch many times over.
