just when you think you have completely escaped military aircraft, they're back! i don't think i ever thought about the military, planes, etc. until i lived in okinawa and my eyes opened up to a whole new world. so did my ears. fucking military aircraft at all hours going by. it's quite disturbing. i'm experiencing it again. i work close enough to a naval weapons station to hear the damn planes and helicopters go by. they are flying really low. too low. i look out the window at work and see them. now i can hear them at home at night too. it's been hot and a bit humid as well. it feels like i'm back in okinawa.
