vote for pedro [watching]
i netflixed "napoleon dynamite". i just had to see it. every now and then i keep seeing 'vote for pedro' all over the place--even in free code/scripts that i download. eventually i learned where this phrase came from and added the film to my netflix list. in this age of dvds, my first impression of a film often comes from the dvd menu. the menu for "napoleon dynamite" was different from what i usually see so that was cool but the film itself was a ho-hum look at a bunch of dorks and nothing special. i don't see how anyone could like it enough to put 'vote for pedro' on anything.
