i came up with a use for the spring roll wraps: dessert rolls. just throw anything remotely sweet with some chocolate into a wrap and fry it up. my theory: chocolate + anything fried = yummy goodness. i made a couple that were pure chocolate and the rest were chocolate with dried cranberries, chocolate with fresh strawberries, chocolate with granola bar, chocolate with fresh orange slices, chocolate with candy coated sunflower seeds, and chocolate with peanut butter. turns out that my theory is correct. damn that was sinful! vegetarian, not vegan, but if i just worked on this idea a little more, you could easily sell each dessert roll for $3 or more at a restaurant. foo-foo it up a bit with some syrup, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, chocolate syrup, or whatever you choose and add a couple more bucks to the price. i smell profit.

in computer news i think i am a jinx. about an hour into work and my computer totally crashed. hard. like my laptop did. no other boot mode would work! not safe mode, not debugging mode, not last known good config, nothing. i asked tech support for help and got our IT guy to come help me out. he was working on it all day. he let me use his computer so i could get some work done. tomorrow's a big day so of course of all days the computer would die on me today. i had to redo all the files i had been working on which wasn't that big of a deal because i'm good like that. and because at work i save files to another server just in case. if only i had enough money to do something similar at home but i will once i get back up and running again. no more data laziness i promise. so there i am at the IT guy's computer. i finished all my files, saved them to the server, and was deleting them from the desktop so his computer wouldn't have clutter from me working there. exactly the moment that i dragged the file i had been working on to the trash (excuse me, 'recycle bin' since we run pcs here), the monitor went black and all was quiet. it restarted itself. i am a computer jinx. i have too much electricity running throughout my body. i have nobmosis too. do not let me near your computer or it will behave strangely too.
