when "the family guy" first aired, it seemed stupid and i didn't really pay any attention--never watched an episode. but somehow, once you return from a foreign country, everything seems sweeter. i saw the commercial on tv for "the family guy" dvds and the movie, "stewie griffin - the untold story", and it just had me cracking up everytime the baby shaved his butt. my curiosity grew from that point on and i've been watching the first two seasons of "the family guy" lately thanks to netflix. the father pisses me off in a homer simpson kind of way (there's some cartoon/sit-com rule about all dads are idiots) but brian the dog and stewie the baby are hilarious. just like karen and jack are the only reasons to watch "will and grace", stewie and brian are the whole reason why i will netflix all "the family guy" discs.
