(what, you bought some vegan or macrobiotic books?) she bought an alkaline ionizer water purifier. it is by enagic and it makes "kangen water". my mom said that the product she wanted to buy was not available so she is borrowing the more expensive model? not sure if i got that right but that's what she said. she is also considering purchasing the device that you can attach to the shower because it will make your skin and hair softer and nicer overall. i don't know who convinced her to buy this thing but i'm up for trying some purified water. there are some pictures on the purifier but otherwise it's in japanese so good luck to twiddle thumbs, hahahaahaha. after setting it up to the kitchen faucet, my mom placed the following sign nearby, posted for your reading enjoyment (copied word for word, typo for typo):

How to drink this water

First a week, drink PH8 amount (1 litter, about 4 bottles)
Second week: drink PH9 amount (1 litter, about 4 bottles)
After 3rd weed Drink PH9.5 a lot

PH7 is purified water drinking vitamins or pills.
PH 5.5 Use as washing face or toner (Not electrolyzed, but ruminated chlorine)

In the first 2 weeks, this water takes old staff from your stomach away from your body, and your pop will be softer, but don't worry.
